Head of Immunology

Position Overview

Ailomics Therapeutics is seeking an exceptional immunologist who will play a critical role in validating Ailomics Therapeutics' pioneering computational target identification platform. You will be a member of Ailomics Therapeutics' Leadership Team, establish the Immunology function, and lead the Immunology team to validate the targets for immunology and inflammation diseases. You have a track record of discovering and validating a broad range of immunology targets and mechanisms, with experience of developing high-translatability disease models. You have a passion for deep disease biology understanding along with strong leadership, communication skills and collaboration spirit.
 

Responsibilities

 Establish the Immunology research laboratory and build the Immunology team.
 Collaborate with the Target Identification team and the Modality Discovery team to validate novel immunology and inflammation disease targets.
 Lead the Immunology team to develop in vitro and in vivo disease models that mimic the disease microenvironments in human.
 Establish collaborations with contract research organizations, academic laboratories, and hospitals for immunology drug R&D.
 Expand Ailomics Therapeutics' external network of advisors and establish deep domain expertise in immunology and inflammation.
 Co-drive the development of Ailomics Therapeutics' culture, talent strategy, and business operation.
 

Qualifications

 Ph.D. in Immunology or a relevant field.
 A track record of expertise in Immunology, evidenced through scientific publications and research programs leadership.
 Demonstrated capability of developing high-translatability in vitro and in vivo disease models for target identification and validation in the disease areas of immunology and inflammation.
 Experience of building immunology target discovery platform and leading people.
 Passion for deep disease biology understanding and novel target identification.
 Open mind for data analytics-driven target identification approach.
 Strong leadership, communication skills and collaboration spirit.
